The first game back on the pitch since November 20th 2010 for both teams, this was our re-scheduled away cup game to Oaksey.
With both teams still feeling the effects of a long break from football and consuming too many treats over Christmas, it left the coaches wondering how the players were going to cope with the game.

It turned out to be one of the best spectator games to date. MYFC using the whole pitch, including width! to play some wonderful football.

The first half was very open, with both teams having to work hard to stay in the game.
Overall we saw some amazing passing football from all MYFC players, with the ball on the ground at all times.

Once again the MYFC goalkeeper was cool and calm, doing his best when called into action.
Very tidy, clever defending from MYFC saw player marking, space covering and calm tackles, followed by well placed passes up to the MYFC midfield/strikers.

A great performance from the MYFC midfield/Strikers produced consistently great passing football. Creating goals through working as a team. With the MYFC midfield never dropping too deep, it gave the MYFC defence a chance to their thing in style and have someone to pass to.

A great result after such a long break. Everyone played extremely well, putting into effect our efforts to work as a passing team.

Well done to everyone, not just today but to everyone signed on with us.
