A blazing hot Saturday afternoon suited our finally found passing game, with more than one neutral spectator commenting on how well we passed the ball.
With near perfect performances from every player, the whole festival was a joy to watch for every one of us on the sideline.

Goalkeeper Thomas Waldron didn’t have  a lot to do , but when needed, pulled off some important saves, including a penalty save.
Rock steady defending from Lucas Pascoe continuing his brave tackles, important tackles made by Conor O’Brien followed by tidy passes up to the midfielders and excellent overlapping runs from our other defender Thomas Wassili whose goals are waiting just around the corner for him. Overall, defending the England team would greatly appreciate!

Jacob Kelly kept on running in midfield supporting the strikers and defenders, playing some good passes, despite the heat. Jack Coleman, Tom Waring and Kieran Butcher shared the positions of midfielders and striker, with great two touch passing in the middle leading to all three of them picking up two goals each.

As always we will continue to work hard to improve our overall game. Well done to the future ‘pass like Brazil’ team, MYFC under 8’s 2009/10.
