MYFC played hosts to Corsham today, off the back of a 10-0 smashing the previous week.
For me, today was a winnable game for both teams.
To avoid it being a miserable couple of weeks for MYFC, the players had to step up.
A steady MYFC first half saw no major problems. Any attack from Corsham seemed to come from small technical MYFC errors – poor touch, turning into trouble, poor passing, easily put right by the players themselves.
During this half, MYFC were playing very deep due to the back line not pushing up as they should, creating a whole lot of space for Corsham to exploit.
Second half saw a more eager, determined MYFC. With far more attacking play during this half.
If MYFC could have been more clinical with their finishing during this half, could it of been a draw or even a win? Small errors caused goals conceded and less than positive finishing saw not enough goals scored.
A far more positive game this week, time for a win now though.
