A super confident MYFC took the field today, in our away game to Castle Combe Colts FC.

I think we all needed a great MYFC performance today, to take the team spirits back to the height they were a few weeks back.

This they produced, in perfect style.

It was a calm, committed and stylish performance from MYFC today. Every player was confident before the game, took the warm ups seriously and got themselves into the right mindset before kick off. All players were keen to get started and prove themselves within the team.

Our usual downfall of not winning the ball back and not staying...

I should have made the decision to write a smiley, happy, 'its the taking part that counts' match report for every game from the start of the season! But I didn't, so I must continue with a report that reflects the game from a coaches point of view.

We have not played a game of football for a month and during our first training session after the Christmas break, we renamed ourselves 'Christmas Pudding FC', due to a clear dip in fitness!

It was a very even first half. Westbury came of the blocks...

U10: MR Frome Town B 111204

Today MYFC were kitted out in a sunshine yellow away kit, hopefully this would put us all in a good mood whilst trying to get back to our usual form, away to Frome Town FC B.

Before the game MYFC looked excited and confident in getting back to a comfortable way of playing.

The first half saw a very nervous and unsettled MYFC team. Being given so much...
