Malmesbury had a couple of good chances to go two nil up but didn’t take them.
The impetus of game swung and in a short period Bradford scored four quick goals to take a 4 – 1 lead. Malmesbury responded just before half time as strong Malmesbury attack led to a shot on goal by George, initially saved by the keeper but scored on the rebound by Jasper, to take the score to 4 – 2 at half time.
Early in the second half Malmesbury didn’t take a good chance to close the gap when they didn’t convert a penalty. Bradford took charge of the game and scored a further five goals without reply from Malmesbury. During the second half Ben had to leave the field due to illness but valiantly returned to the game later despite being unwell.
